FOREST TRUMP: WHITE HOUSE WEIGHING PLANS FOR PRIVATE SPIES TO COUNTER “DEEP STATE” ENEMIES.

Paranoid Symptoms. Delusions are fixed beliefs that seem real to you, even when there's strong evidence they aren't. Paranoid delusions, also called delusions of persecution, reflect profound fear and anxiety along with the loss of the ability to tell what's real and what's not real.

THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION is considering a set of proposals developed by Blackwater founder Erik Prince and a retired CIA officer — with assistance from Oliver North, a key figure in the Iran-Contra scandal — to provide CIA Director Mike Pompeo and the White House with a global, private spy network that would circumvent official U.S. intelligence agencies, according to several current and former U.S. intelligence officials and others familiar with the proposals. The sources say the plans have been pitched to the White House as a means of countering “deep state” enemies in the intelligence community seeking to undermine Donald Trump’s presidency.

What were the effects of the McCarthy Witch-hunts in the 1950s? McCarthyism and the ‘Red Scare’

**Introduction**

When the Cold War broke out between the US and the USSR after 1945, there was an intense fear and hatred of Communism by many Americans. “ Better dead than Red” was a popular slogan. Americans looked abroad after 1945 and saw Communism taking over in East Europe (1945- 48), China (1949), Korea (1950). For many it was simple. Communism was taking over the world.

Roman Emperor Gaius (Caligula) (ruled AD 37–41)

Gaius (‘Caligula, or ‘little bootee’ – a childhood nickname given him by his father’s troops) is best known for a series of eccentric actions, such as declaring war on the sea and proclaiming himself a god.

The Roman historian Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus wrote a story about the emperor Caligula, who lined up his soldiers and artillery on the beach and declared war on Neptune, god of the sea. After that he claimed victory over the ocean and commanded his men to collect shells as war booty.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WACkBTh0W6w

His reign actually began quite promisingly, but after a serious bout of illness he developed paranoia that led him into alarmingly erratic behaviour, possibly including incest with his sister, Julia Drusilla, whom he named as his heir.

Gaius took particular delight in humiliating the senate, claiming that he could make anyone consul, even his horse (though, contrary to the popular story, he didn’t actually go through with this). As the son of Germanicus [a prominent general], Gaius was keen to establish his military credentials, though his campaign in Germany achieved little and his abortive invasion of Britain had to be turned into a battle with the sea god Neptune: he is said to have told his troops to attack the waves with their swords and gather seashells as booty.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zgJ1Cb99uA

Gaius declared himself a god and used his divine status to establish what was, in effect, an absolutist monarchy in Rome. He followed Tiberius’s example of using treason trials to eliminate enemies, real or imagined. In the end it was his rather childish taunting of Cassius Chaerea, a member of the Praetorian guard, which brought Gaius down. Chaerea arranged for his assassination at the Palatine Games. He is supposed to have protested that he couldn’t be killed because he was an immortal god, but he turned out to be rather less immortal than he thought.

**Caligula's** Downfall

How Trump Is Ending the American Era

For all the visible damage the president has done to the nation’s global standing, things are much worse below the surface.

*Foreign leaders have begun to reshape alliances, bypassing and diminishing the United States.*

Trump seems incapable of restraining himself from insulting foreign leaders. His slogan “America First” harks back to the isolationists of 1940, and foreign leaders know it. He can read speeches written for him by others, as he did in Warsaw on July 6, but he cannot himself articulate a worldview that goes beyond a teenager’s bluster. He lays out his resentments, insecurities, and obsessions on Twitter for all to see, opening up a gold mine to foreign governments seeking to understand and manipulate the American president.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_zdHfLeaZo

Foreign governments have adapted. They flatter Trump outrageously. Their emissaries stay at his hotels and offer the Trump Organization abundant concessions (39 trademarks approved by China alone since Trump took office, including one for an escort service). They take him to military parades; they talk tough-guy-to-tough-guy; they show him the kind of deference that only someone without a center can crave. And so he flip-flops: Paris was no longer “so, so out of control, so dangerous” once he’d had dinner in the Eiffel Tower; Xi Jinping, during an April visit to Mar-a-Lago, went from being the leader of a parasitic country intent on ripping off American workers to being “a gentleman” who “wants to do the right thing.” (By July, Trump was back to bashing China, for doing “NOTHING” to help us.)

One of the core messages from Donald J. Trump, presidential candidate, was that "the world is laughing at us," and if we all just elected him, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, they would stop laughin and start respecting us again. This is the rhetorical manifestation of that scowling pose Trump strikes whenever he intends to look Tough and Serious, and like that pose, it's proven to be something of a joke.

When we send our president out to represent us to the world, other world leaders often end up laughing at him. It happened at the United Nations last year. He's been mocked by representatives of Germany, Australia, New Zealand, the Nordic countries. What could it be? Surely the fact that a spray-tanned television addict who processes information solely in terms of whether it is nice or nasty to him now has access to a nuclear arsenal is no laughing matter. And yet, at the NATO summit in London Tuesday, it appears they may just have been laughing at him again. This time it was Justin Trudeau, Emmanuel Macron, and even Boris Johnson. Why, Boris? Why?

Do charges against Jeffrey Epstein signal 'bigger targets'?

The criminal charges against Jeffrey Epstein allege years of gross abuse, exploitation and trafficking. Co-conspirators could be exposed soon.

One intriguing aspect of the case against Jeffrey Epstein is that the matter is assigned to the Public Corruption Unit of the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office. As its name implies, that unit typically handles cases involving public officials. Epstein is instead the billionaire money manager who socializes with powerful people such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.

Mueller witness with ties to Trump transition charged with child pornography.

Lebanese-American businessman George Nader, who operated as a link between members of President Trump's orbit and Russian and Middle East officials in 2016 and 2017, has been charged on child pornography charges, the Washington Post reports.

Why it matters: Nader was a key witness in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation and is known to have set up a now-infamous meeting in the Seychelles between Trump associate Erik Prince and a Russian official with close ties to the Kremlin.

Nader, a longtime lobbyist and diplomat, once confidently talked himself into rooms with some of the world’s most elite power players..

Nader has had several run-ins with the law over the years related to sexual abuse of children. He was convicted in the 1990s of transporting child pornography publications, and imprisoned in 2003 for sexually abusing ten boys in the Czech Republic.[4] He pleaded guilty in early 2020 to flying a 14-year-old boy from Europe to the US for sex, and transporting pornography depicting child sexual abuse and bestiality.[5][6][7]

Nader has been charged with multiple crimes involving the sexual exploitation of minors, and convicted of several of them. A 1985 charge of receiving from the Netherlands films and magazines depicting pre- and post-pubescent boys engaged in sexual acts, was dismissed due to an invalid search warrant.[21] A federal court in Virginia in 1991 gave him a six-month sentence on a felony charge of transporting from Germany pornographic videotapes of boys about 13 or 14 years old.[21] Prosecutors agreed to put the case under seal "due to the extremely sensitive nature of Mr. Nader’s work in the Middle East."[21]

In 2003, he was convicted in Prague, Czech Republic, of sexually abusing ten boys, for which he served one year in prison.[21][1] A spokesperson of the court told press that the crimes occurred between 1999 and 2002. In one case, at his room in the Hilton Prague Hotel, Nader requested oral sex from a 14-year-old boy. After he refused, Nader masturbated in front of him and paid him 2,000 koruna (US$86).[1]

In January 2018 he was questioned by FBI agents working on behalf of special counsel Robert Mueller, and child pornography was incidentally found on one of his three cell phones as agents inspected it pursuant to a warrant.[22][23] In June 2019 he was arrested by federal agents and charged with possession of child pornography and images of bestiality[6] and, for a second time, transportation of child pornography, and held in jail pending trial in Virginia.[24] Also in 2019 he was charged with having transported a 14-year-old Czech boy from Europe for sex at his Washington-area home in February 2000.[7] Nader reached a plea deal with prosecutors, and in January 2020, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of child pornography and transportation of a minor, for which prosecutors will recommend the minimum penalty of ten years. Sentencing was scheduled for April 2020.[25]

April 2017, Nader was acting as an informal adviser to the UAE and reportedly wired some $2.5 million to Trump campaign fundraiser Elliot Broidy.

Nader, who acted as a link between President Donald Trump's team and Middle East and Russia officials in 2016 and 2017, was stopped with a search warrant on a matter "unrelated to child pornography," according to prosecutors. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 40 years if convicted.

Nader also had extensive contacts with Elliott Broidy, a top fundraiser for the Republican National Committee. Last year, hackers leaked stolen Broidy emails to various media outlets, which published unflattering accounts of he Broidy tried to profit from his proximity to Trump.

Before the 2016 election, Nader reportedly met with Donald Trump Jr. and Erik Prince, the founder of the private security firm Blackwater and then an informal advisor to Trump, telling the pair that the UAE and Saudi Arabia could help Trump get elected, The New York Times reported.

-----

Investigators seized electronic devices from George Nader on January 17, 2018, according to the Justice Department. CNN previously reported that Nader was questioned by the FBI on that date, the first of several sessions with investigators from Mueller's office. The warrants were issued in relation to a "matter unrelated to child pornography," according to the FBI. (WHY NOT?)

Trump Takes A Stand For The Real Victims: Men

https://youtu.be/7GOR9_xiGu8

When Does America Reckon with the Gravity of Donald Trump’s Alleged Rapes?

In light of the new legal scrutiny of Jeffrey Epstein, it’s time to re-examine all the sexual misconduct allegations against the president.

When is America going to reckon with the alleged serial sexual abuser in the White House? Donald Trump has not only been accused of rape and sexual misconduct by more than 20 women over the past several decades, but he regularly uses his power to threaten survivors who come forward and to protect and promote men who abuse women.

Many are hoping the Epstein trial will also implicate some of his powerful friends, including Trump. The world’s most privileged pedophile was known to hang out with the likes of Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Prince Andrew, celebrity lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and, yes, the president, sometimes giving them rides on his infamous private child-sex-abuse plane, nicknamed the “Lolita Express.” Trump, who now claims he's "not a fan," in 2002 called Epstein a “terrific guy” who "likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."

And Trump's connections to Epstein's sex trafficking may go beyond merely superficial. In 2016, “Jane Doe” filed a lawsuit against Trump alleging a “savage sexual attack” in 1994, when she was 13 years old, in which he tied her to a bed at Epstein’s house, raped her, and struck her in the face. The account was corroborated by a witness who claimed to have seen the child perform sexual acts on both Trump and Epstein.

Just as he has a patten of sexual predation, Trump also seems to have a pattern of threatening victims who come forward. Jane Doe alleged in the lawsuit that Trump told her she shouldn’t ever say anything if she didn’t want to “disappear like Maria,” a 12-year-old girl who had also been abused along with her. Jane Doe dropped the lawsuit in November 2016, days before Trump’s election, after her attorney, Lisa Bloom, cited “numerous threats” against her client. (Trump denied the allegations, and Bloom declined to comment for this story.)

Even if the Epstein proceedings fail to produce evidence against Trump, there is enough already in the public record—including words recorded out of his own mouth—to substantiate a shockingly prolific history of sexual misconduct. The first rape allegation against him was by his ex-wife Ivana, who in a deposition in the early 1990s described a violent assault by her husband in 1989 in which he pulled out fistfuls of her hair and jammed himself inside her. She clarified while he was running for president in 2015—and while under a gag order that prevents her from discussing her marriage with Trump without his approval—that the alleged rape was not in a “criminal sense.” What she, likely coached by Trump’s team, seemed to be implying is that a man has a right to sex with his wife, regardless of his level of violence or her protestations (all 50 states have laws against non-consensual sex, or rape, within a marriage).

Even though Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer and fixer, claimed that "you cannot rape your spouse,” he was so invested in squashing the story that he dramatically threatened a Daily Beast reporter who was writing about the incident that same year. “I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we’re in the courthouse. And I will take you for every penny you still don’t have. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know,” Cohen said. “So I’m warning you, tread very fucking lightly, because what I’m going to do to you is going to be fucking disgusting. You understand me?”

The allegations have piled up against Trump for almost 40 years now. Businesswoman Jessica Leeds told The New York Times that in the 1980s, he grabbed her breasts and reached up her skirt on an airplane without her consent. “He was like an octopus,” she said. “His hands were everywhere.”

In total, and not counting the young Jane Doe who rescinded her lawsuit, more than 20 women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct so far, and many of them have produced witnesses and corroborators. Five have produced at least two witnesses. He denies all of the allegations, but his own recorded statements suggest he does regularly engage in this pattern of behavior.

Trump infamously boasted to Access Hollywood host Billy Bush in 2005 that he can grope women whenever he wants because he’s famous. “When you’re a star, they let you do it,” he said. “You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy.”

Perhaps the slow drip of information and accusations against Trump has had a numbing effect on public opinion, and the sexual misconduct has been further buried by the national security crises that seem to be occurring on a weekly basis. The New York Times didn’t even consider it front-page news last month when prominent writer E. Jean Carroll became the third person to accuse the sitting president of rape. (Trump responded that he couldn’t have raped her because she’s not his “type.”) But when the puzzle pieces are assembled, the full picture of Trump’s alleged sexual misconduct and the fact that he’s gotten away with it for so long are actually quite shocking at a time when the country is supposed to be reckoning with its own rape culture.

It’s not just the idea of a possible rapist sitting in the Oval Office that’s disturbing—it’s the ripple effect of a presidency that silences and devalues women and girls while elevating the men who harm them. Trump paid a porn star and a Playboy model for their silence after having affairs with them. His administration has come under international scrutiny for weakening protections for victims of sex trafficking. He endorsed Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in 2017, after multiple allegations that Moore had sexually abused teen girls. He stood by his Supreme Court pick, Brett Kavanaugh, after Dr. Christine Blasey Ford delivered an emotional testimony alleging that Kavanaugh tried to rape her in high school. He is reportedly not even considering firing Acosta for making a sweetheart deal with Epstein’s lawyers.

There are too many red flags to ignore. Trump has proven himself to be a danger to women in his personal orbit, and his leadership is a danger to women and girls across the world. Now that his powerful friend is being held accountable for heinous sex crimes, the allegations against the president warrant much further scrutiny.

Scam tracker tool available in Canada

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdQ9EbK1Ea0

The Better Business Bureau has introduced its Scam Tracker tool to Canada, allowing Canadians to access and contribute to its online database of known scams. Scam Tracker allows users to access a regularly updated database of fraudulent activities based on region, date, and scam type. As reported by the CBC, "It's a hot map that will identify scams as they're reported in real time, they will show the number of reported scams, where geographically they're hitting and where they're trending," says Mary Power, president and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. "This tool allows technology to give consumers (access to) quicker information, better information, and trends so that they can protect themselves."

The online tool has been available in the United States since February of this year. It utilizes contributions from individuals online as well as the information collected by the 112 independently operated Better Business Bureau offices in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1912, the Better Business Bureau is a non-profit organization focused on marketplace trust and consumer protection. As most scams target vulnerable citizens, including the elderly, mental health survivors, and new immigrants, the dissemination of real-time information is a significant step towards educating these groups about the wide variety of potential scams. Since the tool maps reported fraudulent activity, users can get up-to-date information about fraud perpetrated in their particular area.

According to the official website of the Better Business Bureau, “BBB processes nearly a million complaints a year against legitimate businesses, but perpetrators of scams are not interested in resolving matters… even if they could be located. The data collection process for BBB Scam Tracker was designed to generate information that can be useful to law enforcement.” As more users adopt the Scam Tracker tool and file reports, those numbers will increase, allowing citizens to protect themselves and law enforcement officials to discover trends in fraudulent activities.

BBB releases list of Top 10 riskiest scams in Canada in 2019.

After being absent for at least three years, a once-popular scam has made it back on a notorious list.

The Better Business Bureau released its Top 10 Riskiest Scams of 2019, and topping that list: the travel, vacation and timeshare scam.

TWEET THIS“Travel, vacation and timeshare scams are now the riskiest scams in Canada,” the BBB’s vice-president of marketing and communications Camie Leard said.

The private, nonprofit organization said people were at risk of losing up to $5,000 to scammers — about 16 times higher than the overall median dollar loss in 2019.

The BBB said several consumers reported bogus businesses deceiving people into paying exorbitant closing fees on fraudulent timeshare resales, while others reported unrealistically cheap deals.

The BBB advised travellers should only use reputable and dependable travel agencies and that timeshare sellers should thoroughly research potential brokers.
